Community guidelines

• No bullying, harassment, stalking, intimidation, threats, or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
• No hateful conduct or discrimination based on protected or personal characteristics.
• No unwanted sexual content, sexual harassment, exploitation, or non-consensual intimate content.
• Respect boundaries, consent, personal space, venue staff, officials, opponents, and teammates.

• Use your own identity and accurate profile information. Do not impersonate people or organisations.
• Create genuine matches and give accurate details about time, place, availability, costs, and skill level.
• Record scores, attendance, cancellations, and paid or unpaid status fairly.
• Do not scam, solicit money deceptively, spam, manipulate activity, or promote unrelated services.

• Do not share another person's private information, messages, images, or location without permission.
• Only upload content you own or have permission to use.
• No illegal goods, instructions for serious wrongdoing, malware, or attempts to bypass Sportsplit security.
• Never post or request content that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or facilitates contact with a child. Read our child safety standards.

• Choose an appropriate public or staffed venue when meeting a new player.
• Tell someone your plans, arrange your own transport, and leave if a situation feels unsafe.
• Follow venue rules and use suitable equipment. Do not pressure someone to play or continue playing.
• Do not attend when intoxicated, violent, or otherwise unable to participate safely.
• In an immediate emergency or risk of harm, contact local emergency services.

Use the report option on a profile, chat, match, or other relevant content when available. You can block a player from the app's safety settings. Include enough context for us to identify the account or content, but do not forward illegal sexual content involving a child.

You can also email hello@sportsplit.co.uk. We may remove content, limit features, warn, suspend, or close accounts, preserve evidence, and contact appropriate authorities when required. The response depends on the facts, severity, context, and applicable law.
